PASTOR DONNIE RAE COGDILL, 63 of Peach Bottom, PA, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from his home. The beloved husband of Cathy Mae (Miller) Cogdill, they were married on September 30, 1978 sharing nearly 43 years of marriage.
Born on June 9, 1958 in West Chester, PA, he was the son of Phyllis Mae (Blevins) Cogdill of West Grove, PA, the late Arvil Cogdill and was one of five children. Graduating from Kennett High School in Kennett Square, PA, he had been employed for Sephora for the past 20 years. Answering the calling from God, Pastor Donnie began his ministry with Mercy Missionary Baptist Church in North East where he served 7 years followed by 8 years with Trinity Free Will Baptist Church in Darlington, MD. In 2004, he founded and has pastored the past 17 years at New Beginning Baptist Church in Peach Bottom, PA.
A man of God, he loved his ministry, was a hardworking man, cherished his wife and family and was a treasured friend. His spirit and dedication will be missed.

Phillip Judson Cogdill of Willow Street, PA
A brother, Ronnie (Nikki) Cogdill of West Grove, PA
A sister, Lesia Duvall (Ronnie) of Rising Sun, MD
Two grandchildren-
Mackenzie Lynn Cogdill and Daniel Rae Cogdill of Havre de Grace, MD
He was preceded in death by his siblings: Shirley Jenkins and Keith Daniel Cogdill.
Services will be held at New Beginning Baptist Church, 301 Black Barren Road, Peach Bottom, PA with a viewing on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 3 – 5 p.m. followed immediately with the funeral at 5 p.m.. Pastor Dennis Gilbert of Charlestown Missionary Baptist Church will officiate.
Interment services will be held at Little Britain Presbyterian Cemetery, 255 Little Britain Church Road, Peach Bottom, PA on Monday, September 27th at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Andy Parrett officiating. Please gather at the grave for the committal.
